Entertaiment is abbreviated to entmt. on fliers for entertainment companies, in industry news publications, and sometimes in short hand note taking when space is limited. However, it is not used commonly outside of these settings.
This article provides an academically accepted, systematically built and area-oriented definition of entertainment. It stems from bibliographical research, qualitative research proceedings and analytical systematic processes, and is founded on product, experience, culture and communication notions. It is based on the famous Scheherazade story in the Persian professional storytelling tradition.
